Black Labrador Greeting Card (Poggle)

Poggle the black Labrador is gorgeous, very friendly and exuberant. He is still only less than a year old and nearly knocked me over in his friendliness! He is so black and glossy that I found it quite a struggle to try and draw him and to see a few of his muscles under his black shininess. I had ambitions to draw him not simply using a shilouette but with tones to show his silky coat. Poggle is obsessed with gloves and likes to have one in his mouth at all times. Poggle lives with Alice and her family in Streatham who have lots of odd gloves!
